Oathbound Decking Inc. was created with a simple belief at its core: craftsmanship should be a promise kept. After years of seeing how often quality was sacrificed for speed, the company was founded on the idea that homeowners deserve better—better communication, better workmanship, and a team that takes pride in every detail.
What began as a small, hands-on operation grew steadily through trust and word of mouth. The focus has always been the same: show up, do the job right, and treat every project with the respect it deserves. That commitment is what shaped Oathbound Decking into the company it is today.
Now serving communities across Northeastern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin, the mission remains unchanged. Every deck is built with integrity, precision, and the belief that outdoor spaces should be safe, durable, and made to last.

Meet Adam — Field Operations Lead
Adam is a master‑level deck builder with deep expertise in PVC and composite systems, specializing in TimberTech and Trex. He began focusing exclusively on advanced deck construction in 2019 and has since completed a wide range of complex projects, including radius decks, multi‑level structures, pool decks, spiral staircases, and custom lighting integrations.
His subcontracting work with Outdoor Living Unlimited (Waukesha, WI) and Platinum Decking (Schaumburg, IL) provided extensive field experience across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin — both contracts remain active today.
In mid‑2023, Adam took over full field operations for PCR when his business partner became seriously ill. Out of loyalty and commitment to the family, he completed 70 TimberTech decks entirely on his own, ensuring every project continued without interruption. After his partner’s passing, Adam chose to carry that same craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication forward through Oathbound Decking.
Adam is a TimberTech Pro and an AZEKNow Loyalty Board member — a selective credential reserved for top‑performing contractors in the TimberTech/AZEK network. This status recognizes his craftsmanship, installation volume, and commitment to best practices.
Adam recently earned his Westbury Certified Master Pro credential — the highest level of recognition offered by Westbury. This designation reflects the mastery, leadership, and precision he brings to every project, and it formally recognizes the standards he sets in the field every day.
He has studied all 34 TimberTech installation videos and is actively pursuing multiple NADRA certifications, including Deck Evaluation/Inspection, Decks Done Right, and Master Deck Professional – CODE (MDP‑CODE). His installation philosophy prioritizes structural integrity, long‑term performance, and strict adherence to manufacturer and code standards. He prefers Diamond Pier or Helical Pile foundations depending on project requirements and avoids concrete piers due to quality concerns.
With high standards, extensive hands‑on experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement, Adam’s goal is to become one of the top PVC and composite deck builders in the nation — and to train future installers to the same level of excellence.
